Ketan C. Mehta M.D. is founding NeilMed Pharmaceuticals in the US. As a physician, he relied on Western technology until he developed chronic sinusitis. This inflammation of the sinuses leads to treatments and nasal surgery. Then he discovers that nasal cleansing is most effective for this condition. He develops a special nasal shower this purpose: the Sinus Rinse nasal irrigator. NeilMed Pharmaceuticals is born.
The NeilMed nasal shower is the No. 1 among ENT doctors in America and Canada.
The NeilMed nasal douche and nasal products are available in many parts of the world, and many ENT doctors prescribe the NeilMed nasal douche and other NeilMed products to their patients.
Gertine Bobeldijk brings the NeilMed nasal shower to the Netherlands. She becomes an official partner of NeilMed Pharmaceuticals in the U.S. and establishes NeilMed Netherlands.
