Make nasal cleansing a daily hygiene routine, just like brushing your teeth. The neti pot has been around for thousands of years and has traditionally been known for the natural relief it provides for nasal complaints. By tilting the neti pot, you use gravity to rinse your nose clean. It flushes away (to a limited extent) excess mucus and strengthens the functioning of your nasal mucosa. In fact, it reduces the swelling of your mucous membranes and supports their defense function. If your nasal contents are too mucousy or watery, your mucous membranes cannot fight off invaders properly, with all the consequences that entails. With the NeilMed NasaFlo neti pot, you can prevent that!

We also sell a porcelain neti pot. A plastic neti pot is prone to scratches, which is not conducive to good hygiene. The porcelain neti pot is rock solid, smooth and best to clean.

We strongly recommend that you store the NeilMed NasaFlo neti pot hygienically using the NasaDock Plus Storage Kit. The NasaFlo neti pot is suitable for adults and for children ages four and up.

Replace your neti pot after three months

Medical research shows that it is advisable to follow the cleaning instructions and replace the Sinus Rinse™ NasaFlo® neti pot after three months. Hygiene is important for healthy care of your nose, sinuses and sinuses. You can keep using the porcelain neti pot a little longer.

Use only NeilMed Sinus Rinse nasal rinse salts

To rinse your nasal cavities, use only NeilMed® Sinus Rinse™ nasal rinse salt. Our sachets of salt contain a blend of controlled-grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. This salt is of the purest quality and contains only natural ingredients. You mix one sachet of saline in 240 ml of lukewarm water.
We advise against making your own saline solution. Using the wrong concentration of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate can lead to insufficient relief of your symptoms or even a stuffy nose.
Moreover, (table) salt is not pharmaceutical grade. It may contain impurities, making it unsuitable for medical use.
